Monday Update

From the offical site of the Buffalo Bills

On what would normally be just a day of film session and recovery, the Bills are taking advantage of the week off by practicing on Monday. The team will workout from 12:35 – 2:00 p.m.

At conclusion of practice Buffalobills.com will be in the locker room to talk to players about their weekend off and the upcoming matchup with the New England Patriots. Shortly afterward, Buffalobills.com will have complete audio posted on the site.

Confidence not Shaken

You won't see new head coach Mike Mularkey hang his head nor will you see his team hang their heads after Sunday's match up against the Jacksonville Jaguars. For bout 56-58 minuntes it seemed to be a Bills win. After holding Jacksonville to 145 yards all game, there was a debacle in the closing minutes, the Bills allowed Jacksonville to drive all most the full length of the field for a game winning T.D.

Post game remark

"I felt like we had a number of opportunities. One play here or there in all the phases could have been the difference in the game. I don't feel like we lost the game on the last play of the game. I felt like there were opportunities, many of them, and one of them could have been the difference in the game."
-Mularkey

Monday morning remark

"It was pretty upbeat. I think they know it's just one football game that we came up on the short end and we can make up for it this week."
-Mularkey

Matthews Joins the Bills

from buffalobills.com:

The Bills signed Matthews late Monday afternoon to fill a void in the roster after quarterbacks Travis Brown and J.P. Losman went down with injuries last week, leaving starter Drew Bledsoe and the inexperienced Greg Zolman as the remaining healthy quarterbacks on the roster.

With Brown expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a knee sprain and Losman anticipated to be sidelined for 8-12 weeks with a broken leg, President and General Manager Tom Donahoe felt it was necessary to land a veteran to backup Bledsoe.

Let's go Bills!! Hope Matthews has a good season!
